West Ham are not happy as shameful new details of Thomas Tuchel’s Jarrod Bowen snub emerge that are sure to infuriate fans.
Thomas Tuchel named his latest England squad yesterday and Hammers captain Jarrod Bowen being left out was the biggest shock.
The likes of Ivan Toney and Noni Madueke were called up, yet West Ham’s talisman was not in the German’s selection for next month’s World Cup qualifier with Andorra and friendly against Senegal.
Bowen’s absence was notable because he was included in Tuchel’s first England squad selection in March.
That was much to the delight of West Ham and the club’s fans who have felt Bowen has not been given the respect and opportunities his performances, record and consistency deserves under Gareth Southgate and Lee Carsley.
Tuchel selected West Ham’s top scorer ahead of the likes of Marcus Rashford and others in his first England squad.
Shock as truth emerges about Tuchel’s Bowen snub
There was shock Bowen’s name was not among those called up for the June fixtures, though.
Bowen is due to marry reality TV star partner Dani Dyer after the season ends.
The Hammers skipper also has his stag do booked in Las Vegas days before the wedding to the daughter of West Ham fanatic Danny Dyer.
Speculation had circulated that Bowen had asked Tuchel not to be selected for this England squad as a result of his upcoming wedding plans.
There were also counter claims that Bowen had simply been left out by Tuchel.
Irons boss Graham Potter confirmed Bowen was overlooked by Tuchel for the latest Three Lions selection.

Now West Ham are raging as shameful new details of Tuchel’s Bowen England snub emerge.
Speaking to Hammers News, a prominent club source confirmed Bowen offered to move his entire wedding to make himself available for England duty – not once but TWICE.
Despite the selfless, committed offer, Tuchel has opted to leave West Ham’s main man out anyway.
Potter admitted Bowen is ‘naturally disappointed’ at Tuchel’s brutal snub.
The Hammers boss also said he would have to support Bowen after the blow.
West Ham rage as new details of Tuchel’s Bowen snub emerge
“Look on one hand it will be good for Jarrod to get some well deserved rest after a tough season,” the key London Stadium source told Hammers News.
“But we are all shocked at the decision. England have a lot of good players in attacking areas. But for Jarrod not to make the squad, given some of the other names called up, we find quite staggering.
“Especially as the boy had gone out of his way to make himself available despite having one of the biggest days of his life on the horizon. It’s a shame, but Jarrod won’t let it get him down for long and will continue to prove his quality to everyone.”
Bowen’s offer to move his wedding is in stark contrast to the behaviour of nine England players who cried off from Carsley’s last squad in November.

Selfless Bowen’s attitude in stark contrast to other England stars
The raft of players were heavily criticised by England captain Harry Kane, who questioned their desire to play for their country.
The withdrawals resulted in Bowen being called up before laying on an assist and scoring in two big England victories over Greece and Ireland.
After that, Kane suggested Bowen should have played more for the Three Lions.
Tuchel’s decision looks even more questionable when you take one look at the stats.
Bowen has better goal and assist record than Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and always turns up for West Ham in big games when it matters.
Stats
If Tuchel is basing his selection on recent form then Bowen has four goals and two assists in his last six games.
Chelsea’s hot and cold Madueke has zero goals or assists in the same time as does another who has been called up – Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon.
Going back further Bowen has provided nine goal contributions in his last 11 Premier League matches.
The West Ham star spent two months out injured yet still has 13 goals and nine assists in 35 appearances this season, playing in a poor Hammers side.
Perhaps most damning of all the statistics, though, is that data from the world’s leading football analysts WhoScored show Bowen is the highest rated available English player in Europe’s top five leagues not to have been selected by Tuchel.
