European giants hold urgent meeting with star and his agents after West Ham make move

Real Madrid have reportedly held an urgent meeting with Brazilian wonderkid Endrick and his representatives after West Ham made their move for the teenage sensation.

The Hammers’ ambitious approach has clearly caught the attention of the Spanish giants.

It comes just 24 hours after Xabi Alonso made a big admission about the future of West Ham target Endrick.

Nuno Espirito Santo desperately wants to sign a striker in the January transfer window and Endrick is one of the more interesting names being linked with West Ham.

Niclas Fullkrug has looked well short of the physicality, mobility and pace required to be a Premier League striker.

Besides, the big German can’t stay fit – picking up yet another injury which will keep him out until at least the Burnley game.

A shocking revelation was made about the situation between Nuno and Callum Wilson at West Ham.

And young Callum Marshall is West Ham’s only other senior striker.

Goals are king in the Premier League – so it is easy to see why West Ham find themselves staring at relegation.

Signing a new striker in January is an absolute necessity to try and avoid that disastrous scenario.

Graeme Bailey told Hammers News that West Ham have concrete interest in Endrick.

Transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano has revealed Hammers target Endrick could be available in January.

Yesterday came word from the horse’s mouth as Alonso admitted Endrick is not in his immediate plans and a decision will have to be made on what best to do about his future.

West Ham will be hoping the fact they have one of Endrick’s best friends, Luis Guilherme, and his Brazil teammate Lucas Paqueta at the club can help lure the 19-year-old to east London for a loan spell.

After making regular cameos during his debut season last term, Endrick has barely featured at all under Alonso.

That has cost him his place in the Brazil squad, something he is desperate to rectify with the World Cup looming at the end of the season.

The Irons have been alerted to Endrick’s possible availability and have registered their interest in doing a deal.

Now Real Madrid have held an urgent meeting with Endrick and his agents after West Ham made their move.

And the result of that meeting is hugely encouraging for the Hammers.

According to El Chiringuito ‘all signs point to Endrick’s exit from Real Madrid at the turn of the year’.

Real Madrid general manager Jose Angel Sanchez met with Endrick’s agents on Thursday afternoon to discuss his future, after rumours of interest in a loan move for him from the likes of West Ham.

The good news for Nuno and the Hammers is that Sanchez and Real Madrid concluded they are in favour of a loan move in January.

And they say a decision has now been made for Endrick to leave the club in January on loan.

Although West Ham still have work to do as no club in particular has been selected.

But all roads point to the Hammers right now because Endrick is not keen on joining another Spanish team and has no plans to leave Europe for a return to Palmeiras.

Endrick set for loan move but West Ham have one big problem

The biggest problem for Nuno is that Football Espana believe West Ham’s dire struggles could rule them out of the running.

So the Hammers would have to improve their position dramatically between now and January if they are to stand a chance.

Endrick is not the only striker being looked at by West Ham, though.

Man United’s Dutch outcast Joshua Zirkzee is another very much on Nuno’s radar and another who is desperate for game time to win back his place in his national team’s squad for the World Cup.
