Jean-Clair Todibo joined West Ham United from Nice in the summer transfer window.
West Ham beat Juventus to the signing of Jean-Clair Todibo, after Tim Steidten flew his jet out to France and hijacked Juventus’s move to sign him.
The 24-year-old arrived at the London Stadium with a big reputation as one of the best central defenders in Europe.
However, it’s starting to look like he simply doesn’t want to be here, and a recent spat with Julen Lopetegui certainly hasn’t helped things.
It was actually claimed last month that Todibo was ‘forced’ into joining the Hammers in the summer.
It looks like we could have a real situation on our hands, with the centre-back being banished from first-team training.
But will the board back Todibo or Lopetegui?
What West Ham hierarchy think about Jean-Clair Todibo
In my eyes, the Frenchman is finished at the London Stadium if Lopetegui remains in charge.
Even if the Spaniard is moved on, I feel like we don’t really need someone like the Frenchman at the club, considering his flagrant display of ill-discipline.

And it seems like the Hammers owners could well be on the same page as me.
According to a report from Sport, senior figures at West Ham are not happy with Todibo’s attitude.
That’s no surprise really is it, if the recents rumours about a scuffle with Lopetegui are to be believed.
I didn’t like the fact that he made it so clear he wanted to join Juve rather than the Hammers in the summer.
I don’t blame him for wanting to move to the Turin giants, but we shouldn’t have pushed so hard to sign a player who didn’t want to be here in the first place.
You reap what you sow in this game.
Jean-Clair Todibo is looking like being a disastrous signing for West Ham, in spite of his obvious quality and potential.
Let’s hope I’m wrong, and he manages to turn things around, with or without Lopetegui in charge.
As things stand though, the outlooks seems bleak at the London Stadium for the former Nice man.
