Sutton slates some fans for what they did
Thousands left the ground at half-time with West Ham trailing 4-0 to Arsenal.
Worse was to come, though, for those gluttons for punishment who somehow found it within them to stay.
Because they had to watch former captain Declan Rice fire home a thunderous curling strike into the top corner to make it six and compound West Ham’s misery.
Now Chris Sutton has slated some fans for what they did during Arsenal’s West Ham thumping.
The BBC pundit has taken to social media to suggest the Hammers supporters who left early are “not true fans”.

‘Not true Hammers’
“True football fans don’t leave the game at half-time,” Sutton said on social media.
“There were hundreds and thousands who left the stadium at half-time, the team was 4-0 down.
“But that’s not a true fan is it? You’re not a true football fan, you’ve got to support your team through thick and thin, get behind your team! You can’t leave at half-time and then say ‘Well I’m a Hammer’.
“You’re not a Hammer if you leave at half-time to go home, I’m not having that.”
