West Ham target Steven Bergwijn, once of Tottenham, has responded when asked about recent links with a January move to West Ham United.
Said Benrahma, Maxwel Cornet and Mohammed Kudus could all be jetting of for AFCON at the start of January, so we’ll be particularly light in the attacking department for the first four or five weeks of the new year.
Former Spurs man Bergwijn would be a terrific addition as far as I’m concerned. But what does he think about potentially moving to the London Stadium?

Steven Bergwijn responds to West Ham rumour
The Dutchman has been speaking to reporters about his future with Ajax.
And he responded when asked specifically about a potential winter move to West Ham, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano:
“You should ask my agent. Leaving Ajax in January? In football you can never rule out anything.”
Tottenham signed him from PSV Eindhoven in January 2020 for around £30 million including add-ons (ESPN). He then moved to Ajax for £26 million two-and-a-half years later (Sky Sports), after failing to succeed with Spurs.
The 26-year-old bagged just eight goals and 10 assists in 83 games for Tottenham, and he’s faired far better with Ajax, with 22 goals and eight assists to his name in just 60 outings (Transfermarkt).
The 32-capped Holland international can play anywhere along the front-line, and would offer us with a real variety to our attacking play.
He has pace to burn as is a really direct runner. If West Ham manage to sign Steven Bergwijn in January I would be more than happy.
