West Ham have been handed some huge news regarding Jarrod Bowen, after he was forced to leave the England squad due to injury.
Jarrod Bowen has been on fire for West Ham so far this season, with nine goals and three assists to his name already (Transfermarkt), and he has been rewarded for his fine form with a recall to the England squad.
However, the 26-year-old Hammers forward has already been sent back to the London Stadium after picking up an injury and annoyingly, Gareth Southgate admitted that he felt discomfort during the previous training session as well.
David Moyes will be fretting over Bowen’s injury – he cannot afford to lose the former Hull City ace for a lengthy period of time, especially with Michail Antonio having picked up a serious injury whilst on international duty with Jamaica.
Bowen has been absolutely crucial for us this season, and will be vital to our hopes of finishing inside the top seven, as well as challenging for the domestic and continental cups.
So with that in mind, the Hammers fans will be interested to read the latest Bowen update…

Jarrod Bowen injury update
According to the Daily Mail, the 26-year-old’s knee injury is not a serious one and is not as bad as was first feared by the club.
His release from the England camp is thought to have been precautionary, and Bowen is not actually expected to miss any games for the Hammers.
Wow, that really is a huge relief for West Ham. If he is fit to face Burnley this weekend, there will be a collective sigh of relief from everyone involved with the East London outfit.
Jarrod Bowen has been by far and away our best player this season, so any kind of injury would be terrible news for West Ham and our hopes of achieving success this season.
Fortunately for us though, it seems like the 26-year-old should be fine to feature this weekend against Burnley. And if the report is indeed true, that really is a major boost for Moyes, and the club in general.
